What makes a guy a gentleman? : AskReddit
This reminds me of an anecdote about a formal dinner at Buckingham Palace attended by the ex-cabinet minister Norman Tebbit and his wife Margaret, who was badly disabled in the 1984 IRA Brighton bombing. It wasn't long after the bombing and they found themselves seated alongside Prince Charles and having big trouble negotiating the salad course due to her inability to manage the cutlery. Charles noticed this and, continuing the conversation without breaking stride, started eating his own salad with his hands. Class.
Can't find any reference for this, but want to believe it's true.
Lovely anecdote. The rest of the discussions are also quite interesting and inspiring in a way.
